The 'Suwasahana' fund of the Army that came into effect with multiple benefits to Army personnel and their families, covering medical expenses of the soldier, his/her spouse and children, has now been extended to cover the parents of unmarried Army personnel, too on the directions of the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva.
