2477 CSD personnel assigns to Police

Under the guidance of the President Maithripala Sirisena and directions of the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi, 2477 Civil Security Department (CSD) personnel were attached to the police today (10th Tuesday, January 2017).

Attached CSD personnel will be assigned for security duties of sites, courts and houses. They will also under take duties as patrol duty assistant and mobile duty assistant of the police.

Accordingly, 5000 CSD personnel will be attached to Wilpattu, Anuradhapura, Horowpathana, Uhana, Kebithigollewa, Welioya, Mahaoya, Ampara, Puttalam, Trincomalee, Gomarankadawala, Seruwila, Pollonnaruwa, Madirigiriya, Mulative, Kilinochchi and Monaragala police stations.
