Navy Establish RO Plant at Palaviya

As a Corporate Social Responsibility project of the Sri Lanka Navy, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant was handed over to the public at village of Daluwa, Palaviya in Kalpitiya on Yesterday (14th August). According to the Navy Media, this was the 419th Restoration Water Treatment Plant handed over to public through the effort made by the Navy Research and Development Unit.

With the concept of the President, His Excellency Mr. Maithripala Sirisena, with the financial assistance of the Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease, Srl Lankan Navy under took the project to provide clean drinking water in the areas where high prevalence of kidney disease is recorded.

The latest plant installed at the premises of Daluwa Sumanaramaya will henceforth provide safe drinking water requirement of the community in the region.
