'Qian Weichang' arrives to Sri Lanka

Making a four-day visit 'Qian Weichang', a People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) ship arrived to the country, today (08). The Chinese ship was accorded a traditional Naval welcome upon its arrival at the Colombo Port by the Sri Lanka Navy.

The 129m long and 17m wide ship carried a crew of 158 officers and sailors. The crew is scheduled to take part in a number of events organized by the SLN during its stay in the island.

'Qian Weichang' is set to leave the country on Saturday (11).
