Sri Lanka Navy hosts cultural show to the visiting Chinese Naval Officers

Sri Lanka Navy hosted a cultural show for the officers of the visiting Chinese People's Liberation Army - Navy Ship 'Qi Ji Guang', at the SLNS Rangalla Wardroom on Saturday evening (11th November), states Navy media.

The colourful evening saw Navy's cultural troupe present a vibrant array of performance while the visiting Chinese officers also joined in with their renditions of exquisite musical performances.

The PLAN Ship 'Qi Ji Guang' arrived in the country, making a five-day official visit on Friday (10th November).

The 163.5 m long ship is 22.2 m in width and has a displacement of 10,907 tons. It carries a crew of 549 Naval personnel. Upon completion of its visit, 'Qi Ji Guang' will depart the island on Tuesday (14th).
