Troops donate blood to Mullaithivu hospital

Responding to a request from hospital authorities in Mullaithivu, more than 350 officers and other ranks serving under the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) donated blood to the hospital's blood bank, states Army media sources.

The blood donation campaign was carried out on Friday (7th July) at the Mullaittivu District Hospital. Troops serving under SFHQ-MLT, 59 Division, 64 Division, 68 Division, Forward Maintenance Area (FMA) - Mullaittivu and other Units volunteered to donate much needed blood to replenish stocks at the Hospital's blood bank.
