Eventually, beaches have been started to outpour by locals and foreign nationals, showing a positive sign of restoring the tourism industry.
SLCG took over an offshore patrol vessel from SLN
The Sri Lanka Navy officially handed over an Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) to the Sri Lanka Coast Guard on 03rd January 2022 at the ceremony held at Galle harbour. The occasion was graced by Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayaka, Director General Sri Lanka Coast Guard (DG SLCG), and Rear Admiral Prasanna Hewage, Commander Southern Naval Area (CSNA), and senior officials from Naval headquarters.
