Troops in Kilinochchi assist public welfare programmes

Sri Lanka Army troops in Killinochchi responding to a request for assistance from the Blood Bank at the Kilinochchi Hospital volunteered to give blood to the patients of the hospital. More than 85 Army personnel gave blood at the blood donation campaign held at the Mankulam Hospital on Monday (18 March).

Another segment of land to be released in East

Two Australian Naval ships arrived in Trincomalee on Sunday (17th March). According to Navy media, the two ships had arrived to the country on 11th (March) with a view to carryout initial survey of a drowned ship in the seas around Batticaloa during World War ll.
