Green farming brings in maiden harvest in East
An organic paddy cultivation project in the Eastern region has produced a harvest of 1750kg of paddy. According to Sri Lanka Army media, army troops under 6 Sri Lanka Armored Corps (SLAC) troops of the 223 Brigade under the 22 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) had taken up to sow paddy in an 1.5 acre land in Mailawewa.

Navy seizes a haul of cannabis
