The addendum to an MOU signed between the Secretary to the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Colours of Courage Trust (Guarantee) Limited (COC) for the construction of a ten storied building for the cancer unit at Teaching Hospital Karapitiya, was signed today which will facilitate the provision of labour by the Sri Lanka Army gratis.

Conducting a special press briefing today (Nov 03), the Ministry of Defence categorically denied the false news circulating in certain social media claiming of a move to remove all armed forces personnel presently stationed to provide security at temples and places of worship around the country.

A bus carrying a group of persons from the Kotalawala Defence University (KDU) met with an accident at around 0745 on Friday morning (November 01) at the Ambagas junction on the Dunhinda -Badulla road.
