SL Air Force training craft crashes in Trincomlee
A training aircraft of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has crashed inside the Air Force premises in China Bay, Tricomalee today (Aug 8). According to SLAF sources, the aircraft had crashed several minutes after the take-off, a short while ago. The PT 6 type aircraft had crashed claiming the lives of the two officers onboard.

SL Navy brings ashore sick fisherman
A local fisherman on a multiday fishing trawler was brought ashore by the Sri Lanka Navy after he fell sick while at sea. According to SL Navy media sources, the fisherman had ventured out to sea from the Kalamatiya fisheries harbour on Sunday (Jul 30) onboard the multiday fishing trawler 'Warshan Putha 03’ (Reg.
