Navy distributed drinking water and dry rations among needy
March 27, 2020The Navy conducted a social responsibility program to distribute drinking water and dry ration among religious places and poor families in the North Central Naval Command from March 26 to 27.
It was carried under the directives of Navy Chief Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva to support poor community affected due to COVID-19 outbreak.
Supervised by Commander North Central Naval Area Rear Admiral Lalith Dissanayake, safe drinking water was provided from the mobile Reverse Osmosis plant of the Navy.
