New house for deserving family
January 14, 2019A new house built by Army troops in Kilinochchi was presented to a destitute family Manikkapuram. According to Army media, the house built by the Kilinochchi troops with financial assistance from the Horana, Thalagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation was presented to the beneficiary family living in Manikkapuram, Visuvamadu in Kilinochchi during a ceremony, on Thursday (10 January). The house was built within six months by the troops.
Meanwhile, troops also facilitated the donation of school accessories to students and dry rations to flood affected families in the North.
