'Work from Home' extended to Friday
April 05, 2020The ‘Work from Home’ (WFH) has been further extended from tomorrow to next Friday (6 to 10 April), the Government said.
This facility has been extended for all government, Semi-government and private sector institutions except for essential services.
The Government has declared the WFH system for the staffers of the respective services to allow them to continue to engage in their duties to maintain the Government system while remaining at home to prevent spreading of COVID-19.
The intention of introducing WFH system is to prevent unnecessary gatherings at their respective institutions to mitigate the spread of novel deadly virus.
The Government advises the general public to follow the same WFH procedure as previously practiced.
