Army Buddhist Association distributes ration packs among Buddhist Temples

Sri Lanka Army’s (SLA) Buddhist Association has distributed dry ration parcels among several Buddhist temples, which have been affected due to the prevailing curfew.

SLA Buddhist Association Chairman and Commander, Security Forces-West Maj. Gen. Jayantha Senevirathne has commenced the program to distribute dry ration parcels among 16 Buddhist temples in the Colombo, yesterday.

The main program was held at the Dharma Wijayaloka temple, Rukmalgama, where dry ration parcels were handed over to Chief Incumbent of the temple and also the Maha Nayake of the Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagri Sangha Sabha, Most Ven Iththaepaane Sri Dhammalankara Nayake Thero.
