Navy hatched sea turtles get released into wild
April 08, 2020Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) released newly hatched 96 sea turtles into the Galle Face beach under the turtle conservation project recently.
Managing the Galle Face seaboard, a waste free area, precariously laid eggs those hatched on the spot for incubation, was released under the directives of the Navy Commander Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva. Conservation of marine beings and its resources is one of the main concerns of SLN.
