CSD to continue distribution of essential items
April 09, 2020Continuing the supply of essential commodities, Civil Security Department (CSD) has distributed fruits and vegetables among the residents in Madampitiya, Moratuwa, yesterday (8).
Following the directives of CSD Director General, Rear Admiral Ananda Peiris, the CSD has commenced distribution of essential commodities at a concessionary rate among communities affected during the prevailing curfew imposed by the Government to contain the deadly virus.
Fruits and vegetables distributed among the communities are grown at the agricultural projects maintained by the CSD.
