Frontier Police corps fighting against COVID-19 to get cash rewards of Rs. 5,000
April 11, 2020All police personnel, chief Inspector of police and below will be granted Rs. 5,000 cash prizes in recognition of their selfless service rendered to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
statement released by the Police Headquarters today (April 11) states that the Acting IGP Chandana Wicramaratne has approved granting Rs. 5,000 cash prize for each Police person on duty since March 11.
The instructions on the payments and eligibility criteria have been already issued to respective regional Senior-Deputy Inspector Generals, Police stated in the release.
