Troops of 7th GW and 9th SLNG distribute food rations among needy
April 11, 2020The soldiers of the 7th Gemunu Watch (7GW) and the 9th Sri Lanka National Guard (9 SLNG) support the Government officials to distribute food and essential rations among the needy villagers in Udayarkattu.
The program which coordinated with government officials and Grama Seva divisions in the area was carried out under the instructions of Commander Security Forces – Mullaittivu Maj, Gen. Deepthi Jayathilake.
The distribution of the items was supervised by 68 Div GOC Maj. Gen. R.M.P.J Rathnayaka together with 683 Brigade Commander Col. D.R.N Hettiarachchi.
The subsidized relief packs included dry rations, vegetables and spices as a welfare project in the 683 Brigade area.
