Soldiers support Jaffna pensioners and disable people
April 11, 2020Jaffna Security Forces Headquarters (SFHQ) provided transport facilities to the pensioners and the beneficiaries, who are eligible for financial assistance to go to banks, collect their pensions and payments and return to their homes.
Coordinated with the respective Divisional Secretariats, the SFHQ Jaffna had provided buses to pensioners, elderly people, differently able persons to collect their payments on April 9 and 10.
SF Commander Jaffna Maj. Gen. Ruwan Wanigasooriya, extended assistance in this regard with the help of Grama Seva officials and other authorities.
