Navy directs 32 more persons from Ja-Ela to quarantine centre
April 13, 2020The Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) has directed another batch of 32 persons from Ja-Ela and Ragama areas to the Naval Quarantine Centre at Nachchikudha, today (April 13).
These individuals were identified to have closely associated with COVID -19 confirmed patients who were previously directed for quarantine while attempting to evade quarantine in Suduwella, Ja-Ela.
The SLN on April 09 conducted an intelligence operation to identify 28 persons who were avoiding quarantine orders remaining in the village of Suduwella, Ja-Ela.
On April 11, 52 more individuals from Ja-Ela and Makewita areas were sent for quarantine to the Naval Quarantine Center at Oluvil, following preliminary health checks, yesterday.
