Over 120 soldiers in Wanni donate blood
April 17, 2020Over 120 troops representing 62 Division in Wanni, engaged in a voluntarily blood donation camp recently. This was initiated in order to replenish blood stocks in all Wanni hospitals for the use of patients in the event of emergencies.
The program was supported by a combined medical team from the Anuradhapura General Hospital and the Padaviya Base Hospital.
Assistance of the Army medical team from the 62 Division’s main dressing station was also obtained.
