Hytera Communications Corporation Ltd donates Rs.2 million worth of face masks
April 21, 2020Supporting Defence Ministry’s initiative to fight COVID-19, Hytera Communications Corporation Ltd handed over 20,000 top quality face masks to the Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at a function held at the Ministry, today (21).
Defence Secretary received the donation worth of 2 million from the Company’s Country Manager Kevin Sun and the Director Chatura Wijesundara.
According to the Director Chatura Wijesundara, these face masks are specially designed to contain pandemic situations globally.
Hytera Communications Corporation Ltd, which is reputed in wireless communication devices globally, made this donation through its Local Agent, Securatec Lanka Private LTD operating in the island.
The donation was meant to extend the company’s fullest support to the frontline healthcare workers who are fighting against the deadly virus.
