Twelve villages in Polonnaruwa isolated
April 23, 2020Twelve villages in Polonnaruwa area have been isolated with immediate effect today (23), following an identification of a COVID-19 infected person in the region, said Indika Karunarathne, Divisional Secretary, Lankapura in Polonnaruwa speaking to defence.lk.
He said neither entry nor exit to these villages are allowed until further notice. Accordingly, Patunugama, Abeypura, Somapura, Kagalugama, Sangabodhigama, Pulasthigama, Thambala, AL Hilal Pura, Al Rifai Pura, Weerapura, Lankapura and Boudharnagama have been isolated, he said.
