Genius School of Professional Studies and SKD Manufactures donates Face Masks and Surgical Overall Kits to Defence Secretary
April 24, 2020Genius School of Professional Studies, Kurunegala and SKD Manufactures in Ja-Ela handed over 2,000 face masks and 250 surgical overall Kits to the Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at a function held at the Ministry, yesterday (23).
Defence Secretary received the donation worth of Rs. 350,000 from the Managing Directors of both institutions during the session.
According to the Managing Director, Genius School of Professional Studies, Suranjith Ratnayake, these safety gears are donated to support the Defence Ministry’s initiative to fight COVID-19 to ensure the safety of frontline workforce.
Managing Director SKD Manufactures Shanaka De Silva, Information Technology Executive of Genius School Manoj Arunathilake and Philanthropist Maheshi Priyadarshani were also present at the donation
