CSD sells essentials among people in Piliyandala and Moratuwa
April 25, 2020Civil Security Department (CSD) has distributed essential commodities among residents in Piliyandala and Moratuwa at a concessionary rate yesterday (24).
Fruits and vegetables distributed among residents are the harvest directly purchased from farmers at the recently established purchasing centres in Uva Paranagama and Welimada. Under this CSD’s initiative, both farmers, who are unable to sell their harvest, and the residents distressed under curfew are immensely benefitted.
