Secretary visits Bandaranayake International Airport
June 03, 2019Secretary to the Ministry of Defence General SHS Kottegoda (Rtd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc made a visit to Bandaranayake International Airport (BIA) on 01 June 2019.
On arrival at the Airport, Secretary Defence was warmly received by the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited Mr. Dammika Ranatunga and other senior officials from Air force and Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited.
During his visit, Secretary Defence inspected existing security arrangements at BIA and a security briefing was held with the Air force Commander, Chairman AASL, senior military officers and officials from AASL.
