CSD donates surgical overall kits to health staffers in NCP
May 02, 2020Over 575 surgical overall kits stitched by the Civil Security Department (CSD) were handed over to the Regional Director Health Services (RDHS) office in the North Central Province (NCP), recently (April 29).
CSD’s Director Operations, Col. Nilantha Rathnasinghe told defence.lk, on a request made by the NCP's RDHS office, the CSD had stitched 575 surgical kits at the Anuradhapura CSD’s Sewing Center under the directives of CSD Director General Rear Admiral (Retd) Ananda Peiris.
The kits were donated in a short notice to support the national initiative to fight COVID-19, he also said.
