Navy brings sick fisherman ashore
May 05, 2020A fisherman who had been partly paralyzed was brought ashore from a multy-day fishing trawler at sea by Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) yesterday (4), following to an information received from the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
Navy Spokesmen Lt. Com. Isuru Suriyabandara said, M.S.K Perera (65), a resident of Payagala, who left Beruwala Fisheries Harbour, was recovered by a Fast Attack Craft attached to the Southern Naval Command, 32 nautical miles off southern coast.
Recovered patient had been directed to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for further treatments.
