AIA and SLIC contribute to Itukama COVID-19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund
May 18, 2020AIA Insurance Lanka Private Limited Company, Kegalle branch donated Rs. 500,000 to the Itukama COVID-19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund at the Defence Ministry today (18).
Senior Regional Manager AIA Kegalle, Channa Dunusinghe handed over the donation to the Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne during the session.
Dunusinghe speaking to defence.lk said, the donation is to strengthen the government’s fight to contain the prevailing pandemic situation in the island.
Meanwhile, a cheque worth of Rs. 200,000 presented by the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Branch, (SLIC), Kegalle branch was also handed over to the Defence Secretary during the same function.
