Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd donates over Rs. 2 million worth of items to Tri-forces
May 20, 2020Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd donated 30,000 razors and other consumer products worth over Rs. 2 million, to be distributed among the Tri-force and needy communities affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The donation received by the Defence Ministry was handed to the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa by the Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne this morning (May 20).
According to Director Hayleys Consumer Products Krishantha Halambarachchige, the donation was made as part of their corporate initiative in paying gratitude to the security forces and assisting impoverished communities during this critical situation.
Managing Director Hayleys Consumer Products, Wasaba Jayasekara, Director Hayleys Consumer Products, Krishantha Halambarachchige and Manager Marketing - Hayleys Consumer Products Kasun Nanayakkara were present at the occasion.
