Two Philippine Navy ships arrived to accompany their nationals
May 30, 2020Two Philippine Navy ships arrived in the Colombo Harbour is scheduled to leave today (30) with a group of Philippine nationals stranded in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka Navy assisted diplomatic repatriation mission, carried out due to the pandemic, was conducted according to the healthcare guidelines. Logistics requirements of two visiting Navy ships were also provided without disembarking crews to the harbour.
Some of the employees in the island and visitors were also among the group returnees.
