Nine sailors among 13 coronavirus positives
June 07, 2020Out of 13 coronavirus positive patients reported yesterday (June 6), nine were sailors from the Sri Lanka Navy, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
Among the other four, according to the (NOCPCO), three were returnees from Russia and one from Kuwait.
Meanwhile on Saturday, 33 sailors, who underwent treatment, were discharged from hospitals totaling the number of naval personnel recovered and discharged to 472.
So far, 847 sailors, including 375 more receiving treatment at hospitals, have been confirmed as Coronavirus positives.
