Hayleys Fabrics donates printed fabric to SL Army
June 12, 2020Hayleys Fabrics, a leading private-owned company administered under the Hayleys Group, has donated cloth material to the Defence Ministry, today (June 12).
Company representatives handed over the stock of 11,000 metres of camouflage cloth to the Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at the Ministry.
Two types of printed fabric material will be used to make T-shirts for Army soldiers to be worn in warm and cold weather conditions.
Chairman of Hayleys Group Mahan Pathirage, Managing Director/CEO of Hayleys Fabrics Rohan Goonetilleke and General Manager HR and Admin Prasanna Pathirana participated in the event.
