Soysapura shooting incident : Driver nabbed
June 15, 2020Another suspect believed to be the driver of the vehicle which was used for Soysapura shooting was nabbed with a three-wheeler at Buttala yesterday (14).
The suspect (32) who is a resident in Moratuwa had used the three-wheeler to transport the firearm from Buttala to the location it was kept concealed.
During the police investigations, a T56 with two rounds and a hand grenade were recovered from a house in Moratuwa.
Mount Lavinia Police is conducting further investigations.
