34 Sri Lankan expats return from Nepal
June 16, 2020A group of Sri Lankan expatriates stranded in Nepal due to COVID -19 outbreak, arrived in Sri Lanka today morning (June 16) in a special flight chartered by the Himalaya Airlines.
Most of the returnees out of the 34 are said to be students pursuing higher studies in Nepal universities, the officials at the Bandaranaike International Airport said.
Upon arrival, all the returnees have been subjected to PCR tests and will be directed for Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres.
