Ranaviru Sewa Authority facilitates war heroes

Chairman of Ranaviru Sewa Authority (RSA) Maj. Gen. (Retd) Nandana Senadeera donated Rs. 20,650.00 to a widow of a fallen war hero of the Commando Regiment for her to bear expenses in getting electricity facility to their residence.  

Kumari Thilakaratne of Boraluhinna, Rambewa, widow wife of Corporal K.A.C. Priyadarshana, received the donation from the RSA Chairman during a brief ceremony last Friday (June 19).  

Meanwhile, RSA received a donation of Rs. 2.7 million from China to provide artificial limbs for the disabled war heroes in the country.   

RSA also donated Rs. 0.5 million to a disabled airman, Leading Aircraftman T.U.S. Kumara who has commenced a self-employment at Thalawa recently. Brig. (Retd) Vijith Subasinghe attended the function to declare open the new business place of Kumara last Friday.
