Gangster arrested by STF
June 24, 2020A 31 year-old suspect alleged of gang related crimes at Puthukudiyiruppu was arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF) at Mullaithivu on Tuesday (June 23).
The arrest was made following information received, the Police said.
STF personnel had also taken 17 milligrams of heroin and a dagger into custody along with the suspect.
The arrested suspect was said to be a resident at Mungilaru in Uddayarkattu.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Puthukudiyiruppu Police.
