Needy family receives house constructed by the Army in Jaffna
June 24, 2020One more house constructed by the Security Force - Jaffna (SF-J) was handed over to a needy family in Kopay on Tuesday June 23).
Further extending Army’s ongoing humanitarian assistance in the Jaffna peninsula, the house was built for Yogendran Yogi of Kopay with sponsorship of Vamadeva Thiagendran, Founder and Chairman of Thiyahie Charitable Trust.
The new house was handed over to its recipient by the Jaffna Commander Maj. Gen. Ruwan Wanigasooriya and Vamadeva Thiagendran, who also donated the land for construction of the new house.
