SLN launches a Mobile Dental Unit to serve people
June 25, 2020Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) ceremonially launched an advanced ‘Mobile Dental Surgical Unit’ under the directives of Navy Commander Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva today (June 25).
This novel unit, designed in a luxury coach furnished with advanced dental surgical equipment, will facilitate treatments for oral health issues not only of naval personnel but of civilians living in underprivileged areas across the country, SLN said.
This is an outcome of untiring efforts of the Dental, Automobile and Electrical Engineering Departments of SLN.
This unit is also readily available to serve any emergency dental treatment, SLN says.
