CCD nabs five extortionists in Colombo
June 26, 2020Five persons were nabbed by the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) for suspected involvement in extortion cases from the Bastian Mawatha, Colombo. They will be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate Court Number 02 today (26) for legal proceedings.
The five suspects were nabbed for extorting from vegetable transporting lorries arriving in the Manning Market, Colombo.
Colombo Crime Division is conducting further investigations.
