Army troops disinfect students’ hostels of Jaffna University
June 30, 2020Army troops serving in Jaffna disinfected students’ hostels of the Jaffna University today (June 30).
Anandacumarasamy girls’ hostel and Balasingam boys' hostel at Thirunelvely, and the new girls’ hostel at Kokuvil and its surrounding were disinfected.
This disinfection programme was launched on a request made by the Jaffna University authorities from Jaffna Security Force Commander Maj. Gen. Ruwan Wanigasooriya recently.
The Police Special Task Force (STF) also extended their assistance to Army troops in this disinfection programme.
