Two suspects arrested for attempting to smuggle heroin into Kalutara Prison
July 15, 2020Two persons, who attempted to throw heroin to the Kalutara Prison over its wall, have been taken into custody by the Kalutara North Police on Tuesday (July 15).
Two mobile phones, two chargers, over 2g of heroin and 19 tobacco leaves have been seized in possession of the suspects, the Police said.
Further, 13 more persons linked to the racket have also been apprehended along with over 13g of heroin, the Police added.
