Police arrest suspect of organised narcotic racket
July 19, 2020The Peliyagoda Police have arrested a 34-year-old suspect linked into a large scale heroin racket along with 1g 170mg of heroin.
According to the Police, the arrest was made at Arawwala, Pannipitiya on Friday (July 17).
Further, investigations have revealed that the suspect was a close associate of notorious criminals and drug smugglers ‘Kosgoda Tharaka’ and ‘Gagana’, who are currently in the remand custody.
