Excise Department Sergeant and Prison guard arrested for narcotic offences
July 29, 2020The Police have arrested a Sergeant attached to the Excise Department for transporting ethanol of a private company in Pamunugama yesterday (July 28).
Meanwhile, a prison guard attached to the Wariyapola Prison has also been interdicted on charges of abetting a drug racket and supplying drugs to detainees at the prison.
