Five Coronavirus positives reported, yesterday

The total Coronavirus positive cases reported has increased to 2,839 with five more new patients reported yesterday (August 5).
According to reports, one positive patient was identified as a returnee from Chennai, India while two others were returnees from the United Arab Emirates. In addition, one patient was identified as an inmate at the Senapura Rehabilitation Centre, while another was a close contact of a Coronavirus patient detected from the Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre in Kandakadu.
Meanwhile, the total recoveries reported have risen to 2,537 with 13 more Coronavirus patients discharged from hospitals on Wednesday.
A total of 290 more patients are still under medical care at hospitals.
