Facebook party : 20 youths arrested
August 10, 2020Police arrested 20 people, including a hotel owner and five women, during a raid carried out at a Facebook party, where they had used illegal drugs, last evening (9).
Kaluthara Police, following a tip-off, seized two grams and 465 mg of heroin, 13 grams of Kerala Cannabis and five ecstasy pills in their possession.
The suspects have been identified as residents of Bandaragama, Dehiwala, Panadura, Dodangoda, Yatiyana, Kaduwela, Boralesgamuwa and Horana areas.
They will be produced before the Horana Magistrate Court, today (10), the Police said.
Millaniya Police are conducting further investigations.
