Thirty five State institutions under purview of Defence Ministry
August 11, 2020Thirty five State institutions have been brought under the purview of the Defence Ministry and Internal Security, Home Affairs and Disaster Management State Ministry by the new Gazette Notification issued this week.
The institutions under the purview of the Defence Ministry are :

- Sri Lanka Navy
- Sri Lanka Air Force
- Rakna Security Lanka Limited
- National Authority for the Implementation of Chemical Weapons Convention
- Department of Civil Defence
- State Intelligence Service
- Department of Coast Guard, Sri Lanka
- National Dangerous Drugs Control Board
- General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University
- Defence Services Command and Staff College
- School of Defence Services
- National Cadet Corps
- National Security Fund
- Defence Research and Development Center
- Institute of National Security Studies Sri Lanka
- National Institute of Defence, Sri Lanka
- Ranaviru Seva Authority
- ‘Api Venuwen Api’ Fund
- Department of Multipurpose Development Task Force
- Department of Archeology
- Academy of Financial Studies
