Police arrest female with 49kg of cannabis from Kilinochchi
August 21, 2020The Police has arrested a female with 49 kilograms and 700 grams of cannabis during a raid conducted in Paranthan, Kilinochchi, yesterday (August 20).
The raid was carried out following a tip off received from the area.
The Police said, the 29-year-old suspect is a resident of Murusamotei, Paranthan.
She was produced before the Kilinochchi Magistrate Courts and remanded for seven days for further investigations, the Police said.
