2789 Coronavirus positives recovered and discharged from hospitals
August 21, 2020The total recovered from Coronavirus positives rose to 2789 with 24 persons being recovered and discharged from hospitals during the last 24 hours, according to the situation report issued today (August 21) by the Epidemiology Unit (EU) of the Health Ministry.
The discharged persons included 08 from Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) and 16 from the Welikanda Hospital, EU sources said.
Meanwhile, 2,918 coronavirus positives have been reported in Sri Lanka while Sri Lanka's death toll remains at 11.
A total of 118 coronavirus infected persons are under medical care at hospitals.
